When local businesses succeed, Kelowna becomes more affordable, more resilient, and better able to fund the services residents rely on.
City Hall can't create a strong economy, but it can make it easier or harder for businesses to succeed. Unnecessary delays, inconsistent regulations, and unpredictable decision-making increase costs and discourage investment. I support practical policies that reduce unnecessary barriers while maintaining clear, fair rules for everyone.
Economic growth should benefit the entire community. A strong economy creates good jobs, attracts investment, supports housing, and provides the tax base needed to maintain roads, parks, recreation, and public safety. When businesses thrive, the entire community benefits.
Success isn't measured by how much government spends. It's measured by how much opportunity our community creates. I believe Kelowna should be a place where entrepreneurs want to invest, employers can grow with confidence, and residents can build successful careers without leaving the community.
